The average normie would see this and be like "🤷‍♂️ it don't sound so bad"

What they probably don't realize is that the statement is not complete, in reality it's

You'll own nothing, and be happy, or else!

I'm sure you'd have a pretty homogeneous society of, seemingly, happy people.

because the ones that were prone to make their unhappiness known would have already been taken care of.
