One of the largest wind farms in the US is not far from my house, over 150 windmills that are over 300 feet tall, and every bit of the electricity goes to an Amazon facility in Virginia. We have to look at the eyesores, but we don't get any of the electricity. And they aren't connected to the grid. They have a separate set of powerlines and poles all the way to Virginia.
I saw an American Bald Eagle eating some roadkill on a highway I was traveling on. As I approached, it became spooked and flew up to a branch on a tree. That was a HUGE bird. It must have had a five foot wing span and when it perched on the branch it looked like it was three foot tall. An exceptional bird, majestic and absolutely huge. Glad our forefathers decided to make it our National symbol.

My heart aches at what those turbines have done/do

It’s horrible that so many eagles and hawks are killed on roadways. But turbines are just as bad and as this always no one is raising the problem.
That's so sad
