My big rant is that real feminism would mean that the characteristics of a woman, ie nurturing, are valued as equal to a man's characteristics, and the woman's role in society will be embraced as equal to a man's role. For example, value being a stay at home mom as equally important to being a breadwinner.
Instead, feminism in its current form preaches that a woman's characteristics are inferior and tells women to make themselves equal to a man by acting like a man (ie being a breadwinner instead of a stay at home mom).
Sorry, but I don't buy into that lie. I will never be as good at being a man as a man is. Instead, I choose to embrace my feminine traits, ie being a nurturer, and live my life as the best woman I can be.
What you missed is that they tell women that men are responsible for their not succeeding as a man. Women have become the drivers for the destruction of our nation. They have made it so women think they are nothing unless they strive for making men and boys feel like they are subhuman. Why can't women find their own value in what they individually are good at, what ever that may be? Why do they have to subjucate men? Frankly, I was told in my childhood, by my parents, that I had to go to college, that I had to be prepared to lead my family, that I had to have a good job. I did what they said for 45 years and my first two marriages (10 years - divorce and 20 years - died) suffered. Because I had to be the bread winner I did all the domestic stuff and more. Raised three healthy and productive kids. I hated every minute I was at work away from my family. I now have severe health issues. All because my mother's generation of women didn't have self esteem. It isn't worth it. I literally have no respect for today's image of a woman.
This is so right on point: "...they tell women that men are responsible for their not succeeding as a man." Brilliant analysis of how society has been gaslighting women since the 60s. We have to pray that more and more women wake up to the lies and embrace their true nature as women.

I think the majority of women would be happy to be a homemaker if their husband earned more money, but they are not willing to make the financial sacrifices needed to live on a single income (ie, move away from families to inexpensive areas, only have one car, etc). When I first started staying at home, we made a lot of financial sacrifices. Since I was always home with the kiddo, my husband was always able to travel for work. Many of his co-workers could not travel due to child care issues. Thanks to his flexibility, my husband was able to move up the ladder and eventually make enough to support us comfortably.
Its just intellectually lazy, It just fits men and women into a format of power relationships, thats all.

The very early days of feminism pointed out one thing.
The newly woke feminists all got together on consciousness raising sessions and smash patriarchy seminars but then found out that no one wanted to host them as no one volunteered to help with the washing up and hoovering.
