It depends on how you look at it. The above photo is showing the back of the building. The backs of almost all commercial buildings are less than stellar. The front looks okay for a small town store front.

This was also in the news due to the money laundering required for the massive drug activity around both campuses, the entire geo area FWIW, the involvement allegedly of all local PD's and the brutal slayings of those kids who so many alleged were dealing, as it was alleged the house owner ($$$$) was taking an alleged cut from his tenants allegedly for years.
Does have that cartel-y style to the slayings. And who's to say an ex heavy heroin meth user did not immediately plunge back in the business, allegedly, and wanted his cut. One way or the other.

To hide/be hard to find, we diffuse and become small.
So from a criminals perspective, it makes perfect sense that small banks scattered about would hold big money, to hide their doings.
