Here's a novel idea: How about punishing the person who used an inanimate object to injure and kill others rather than ban the inanimate object?
Bans are illogical because it's a slippery slope -- WHERE WOULD IT/THEY STOP? Guns, knives (note: the UK has already gone here), arrows/spears, metal rods, baseball bats, fry pans, 2x4s/branches, rocks, cars, bottles, cut glass, rope/chain/electrical cord/belts/fabric/other strangulation material, chairs/furniture, canned goods, books, pillows/stuffed animals, bath tubs/sinks/wash basins/bird baths with a couple inches of water, fire, bare hands? All these things can be "lethal weapons" WHEN A PERSON ACTS TO USE THEM AS SUCH, and THAT ("A PERSON") is the key, NOT the item(s) used.

How about we start arresting every snake who introduces bills that violate the constitution and sending them to GITMO for treason? That's a novel idea
