Gaddafi was really a great leader. Clinton, Obama, and the CIA really did a number on Libya.
Didn't Gaddafi try to back Libyan money with gold until there was an unfortunate accident ?
IIRC he asked for oil payments to be made in gold.
He was also trying to set up a currency zone like the EURO, with the Lybian currency as the central backing which would have prevented the destabilization of its neighbors via currency manipulation.
THAT is why they killed Gaddafi. Look at Libya now thanks to Hilary!
You are correct. Nothing is free. Anything the government "provides" is funded by citizens through the medium of taxation. You're paying for it whenever you're "not paying for it". All government programs are funded by those who work.
