Yes it is our responsibility to do our part. God does not reward laziness, and he shouldn’t. As a parent I never rewarded laziness either. We are instructed to pray without ceasing, and when we have done all we can do, we are to just stand. If we can lay our heads down at night, and know that we have done our part, no matter how small it may be, God will pick up and carry us over the finish line. He never has failed, and he never will.
