He and his wife fled into the Siberian wilderness to never be seen again until deep in the forest a homestead was discovered some 75 years later with the offspring of the family still living there. They were actually doing quite well. It was an interesting story like this one.
I watch a YouTube channel called Northmen. One vid is of a grandfather type person who lives like the aforementioned old man. Very cold, yet he gets out there every day and takes care of his LIFE. Great reminder, ashlanddog. We need to get back to the basics of life and learn how to overcome challenges.

There are probably 'regulated' foodstocks he also consumes which would be detrimental to his livelihood if he were to mention them in a film.
Yes in extream cold you need a lot of calories and fat to survive. You would literally starve to death eating rabbits.
