Electric guitar when used for interminable wanky solos. 99% of guitarists are not musically interesting about it and it's just highly irritating.
Guitar, the goddamn strings are all so close together and chords are like FUCK ALL THIS etc. (I'm a bass player with a couple guitars around on general principle, gradually farting around with them.)
Bass player here as well. I agree, the strings are insanely close together on guitar! I even live with a guitar player, so plenty of guitars here, but have never got the knack.
Honestly I'm more interested in the sound of it thru a tube amp than whatever I can do on it technically. It's fun just to mess with like super simple stuff (e.g. think John Lee Hooker) but play with the touch response of the amp and stuff like that.
LOL someone took this seriously enough to downpoot it
LOL.
Steve Vai is definitely in the 1% (not that I pay much attention to him but I know he is theory-wise totally insanely ridiculous).
1 Recorder, I have attended one to many elementary school recitals 2. Accordian, I am uncoordinated

Cello
Cello is not that hard, it is my favorite instrument in an Orchestra, and I decided when I was 35 I wanted to learn it. I did not learn it well, but enough to pick it up and play a bit, the hardest thing about it is there are no frets, so you have to learn by muscle memory where your fingers go to make a sound.
The only thing I miss about my ex is his cello. We used to have quartet rehearsals at home, they were lovely.
My friend learned to play the bagpipes and played Amazing Grace at his own wedding, surprising everyone, especially his bride. Not a dry eye, I’m telling you.
There was a guy that would always be blaring away on bagpipes in Golden Gate Park when I lived out there, and there wasn't a dry eye, nor likely very many people wishing against a bus strike or similar
Whats the difference between bagpipes and an onion? No one cries when you cut up a bagpipe.
Yeah for that you need a tuba

The sax is one of the most-abused instruments, certainly in rock. It can work when arranged/used properly, such as the Steely Dan reunion tour where they didn't have any other horns.
This woman, though...

I’d have to look up the sax. I’m not familiar with the different horn instrument names and sounds. Clearly I didn’t think this through. Forgot about the harp. To my knowledge it’s not in rock n roll or country music😀 The upright bass probably a bitch to hold up when you are first learning it.
I always thought I didn’t like any horn instrument. Then I Anderson East and other artists bringing back a full band in music. enter text
Can’t go wrong with those 70s bands. This song wouldn’t be the same without the flute.
