I do not need Wi-Fi tools. I’m need tools that plug in and work. How hard would it be to disable this crap? Not very hard. If you understand how electric motors work. Besides battery power tools suck for the most part.
I used to think battery powered tools sucked. But I've been flat out abusing a Milwaukee 3/8 impact gun with the same battery all day every day for 2 and a half years now.no signs of giving up yet.
We also have the Milwaukee 1" drive impact. That thing will take off lugs that the air gun can't turn or it'll break your wrist.

Oh I use snap on for my business and they are fantastic. Tech has came a long way, but I dang sure don’t need Wi-Fi chips and crap in my power tools.
Except for my old Craftsman driver, I agree.
