I was thinking about the push for electric cars, and the increasing stories of batteries, exploding and highway fires, that took thousands of gallons of water to put out.
I can’t imagine filling garages full of these electric cars and having inferior batteries explode. (Can you imagine the recall on these batteries when hundreds have exploded in family homes?)
Not only destroying the car and the family home, but the lives inside. And if they burn to such the high temperature, will it lead to neighbors fires as well?
I’ll stick with my gasoline!
You still think there will be free flow of petrol if this happens?
No, but it's easier to move on the black market than electricity, and the authorities can't easily take the tank full in your vehicle.
Lots of people here in the US, own their own oil wells on their property. If the shit hits the fan, gasoline is not difficult to make.
You mean lots of people have private refineries, that’s awesome and unheard of here in Europe.
Solarpanels and batteries however.
Edit: just made a search, looks like the cost of a small scale refinery exceeds $30 million, not sure how viable that is for normal people?
They don't have them now,but their are old ones back in the woods and such from when their were no laws. They are very simple, like making whiskey. If the feds started messing with supply we,our state would change state laws and make them legal in a heartbeat.
But lots of people own their own mineral rights on their land, and own the well production.
