British Columbia Becomes the First Canadian Province to Legalize Heroin, Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Other Dangerous Narcotics to Fig...
As part of Justin Trudeau’s effort to reduce the number of fatal drug overdoses, the province of British Columbia on the country’s Pacific coast is the first province to adopt a policy of decriminalizing possession of small amounts of fentanyl, cocaine, he...
I have always felt it should be the people's choice what they put into their bodies. Not legal to sell in stores or promote but definitely you shouldn't be locked up for possessing. Although in this case they'll probably just push it on people.
Come visit Portland or Seattle and see how that decriminalization is working.
Hint- it doesn't
Was their in Portland and saw the nonsense beginning them and it has just gotten worse..I feel for anyone who still lives in those shit holes@!!!!
The problem is these fent zombies literally form a mob of thousands doing MILLIONS in damage and tens of millions reviving them 30 times in a row. Our failed system has abulance wait times or none at all cuz 90 out of 100 calls is some worthless fried brain fent zombie OD'ing
I see but it sounds like advocating for a society with no minimum standards. That got us THIS far into hell. Its only 2023 tho lol
agreed. its amazing how ppl think its fine for the govt to "ban a plant". this goes for weed, coca, poppy etc. What they should ban is being intoxicated, no matter what you're on, and then doing activities that involve other people under your care, like a bus driver
most if not all of these can kill ( depop ) and yet they locked you in your house, made you wear a mask and jabbed you with a bioweapon for your Health,.!
The lockdowns increased drug use. Making drugs more common on the streets by legalizing them (not decriminalizing, there is a difference), will definitely result in more drug use. There is a very clear pattern to what they want. A drug addicted population is easier to control.
. I know the difference, between,,legalize, and decriminalize,.but drugs have been common on the streets for years without being legalized,.or decriminalized the only reason they want to legalize it is because then the big drug cartels will move in set up shop and start selling drugs Legally,.then they will have to pay taxes,.i would think?
I made the distinction between legalizing and decriminalizing just to be clearer with respect to what policy I was referring to (legalization in that case). I was not implying I didn't expect other people to know the difference.
Reading the article more closely, it looks like they are doing something in-between. If you are caught with less than 2.5 grams of these narcotics, they won't issue you a ticket nor will the confiscate the drugs. This sounds like legalization, however, they don't indicate what will happen if you have more than 2.5 grams nor are they saying they are going to specify a framework for acquiring the drugs legally. So what it sound like is that possession is legalized (no ticket, no confiscation) but distribution and sale are still illegal. Basically the status quo, just made official. They are already not arresting anyone for simple possession of drugs in BC (they have safe injection sites in BC where they help people shoot up), although they may confiscate and destroy the drugs if they catch someone with them right now. And the status quo is lots of drug users on the streets and lost of overdoses.
..".makes sense,.hey thanks for clearing that up fren,..cheers,.!!!
Fight...
THE PROBLEM: They are lumping Fentanyl in with the other drugs. It is 100x more potent. 2mg is a fatal dose yet these limits are for 2.5g.
That's enough to hurt a LOT of people if you had 10 people who all had 2.5g each meet up.
So to fight the drug crisis, they intend to legalise all drugs which will inevitably increase the amount of drugs on the streets and the number of people doing them. And with more people doing drugs and getting addicted, the drug crisis will be fixed. What drug crisis are they referring to?
Wish they would use the same logic with respect to the gun issue. Why not legalize all guns in response to a spike in gun crime. Except that actually makes more sense. The people using guns illegally are already not following the law. By removing the laws, you at least allow the law abiding citizens to defend themselves.
So to summarise what they believe:
Conclusion: "Overdose Crisis" = Not Enough Drugs on the Streets = Not Enough People Addicted to Drugs
Their new motto might be along the lines: Do Drugs, Don't Own Guns
To be clear, not saying that we need to or should continue the "war on drugs" policies that have clearly not worked. However, opening the door like this is not going to fix any actual drug crisis. There are things that can be done (prevention programs, helping people rehabilitate themselves, etc.). Opening the door for more drug use is not one of them.
Fight or promote?
Promote social decay. They want fighting age men zombified and homeless
