Who says it's a Chinese spy balloon?
The Pentagon has used high altitude surveillance balloons over the U.S. for years. Those balloons aren't going to say "PENTAGON" on them, now are they?
The first clue is that the Pentagon didn't do anything about the balloon. That means they know exactly why it's there and what it's doing.
