I added the speech of Orit Dolev - It is literally "You will own nothing and be happy, everything will (must) be rented" from 2019
We will own nothing and be happy, because our cities and communities will be bankrupt, our houses will be to expensive to be paid and the mortgages will rise to such height that we are happy to sell.
We will only be allowed to rent everything = subscription to services and experiences!
Certainly your subscription can be cancelled, if you are not meeting the guidelines.
Now we know why they hyped the tiny houses, nomad life, home-office, 3 hrs week, cargo bikes, automated driving (strokes!), ...
Tiny houses aren't a bad idea though, if you can live without a lot of 'stuff'. They're fairly mobile if you have a truck, or have access to a truck. If you know how to live off grid and maybe even have a set up like that, you can plop it down on a piece of land and there you go, no mortgage. There's also van conversions too.
Van conversions seem like a great idea to bug out with. Most have a shower and most have some kind of toilet. Also diesel heaters, a fridge, sink, solar and batteries.
