Yup, other stores too, and the existing cashiers are more than happy to direct customers to the self-checkouts without realizing they're stupidly helping the stores eliminate their jobs.

Exactly. The fully automated robot McDonald's is ready to go. I know this is 'utopian fantasy ' but I really want to see corporations abolished completely. Revoke "personhood". Federal Reserve all get woodchiped. Go back to gold standard. But my mood today is more Mad Max than positive. Maybe the rain grey day and that I threw up my coffee yesterday and haven't eaten in 36 hours ....kind of black pilled today. Need some cannabis.
