This had 3 major parties involved. Members of the United States government, Israel, and Saudi Arabia. The United States restricted freedoms for its people as a result, Israel got to defeat its enemies in the region without firing a single shot (used the US military to kill its enemies) and the Saudis got to control the oil markets by eliminating competition due to destabilization of the region.
