So basically rack up as much credit as you can and spend all your paper money on things you've always wanted to do. It's all going to be worthless when the inevitable collapse happens

I wouldn't advise that. All legally held money will likely be replaced with the new currency. The offshore and illegal money will not be replaced so the ghouls will be broke.
