The windmills do NOT change the migratory patterns, either. Also, we really don't know how many birds are killed with the ocean based turbines.

Most people don't know that the larger blades hit damned near super sonics speeds in very heavy winds (Tip Speed Ratio), no birds even see it coming. Oh yeah, the ones that blatently ignore these facts are the same ones that 'follow the science'.
