When you have a corrupt DOJ, and corrupt courts... they can discuss anything they want in the House and Senate.
Since the issue being discussed is the corruption of the corrupt legal system (DOJ and FBI and the courts)... who is there to do anything about it? They aren't going to arrest themselves, or find each other guilty of the crimes they've all committed.
Well, let's see if they have any teeth and make anything stick, or if they're all just actor wannabees, as so often seems to be the case. 'Lights, camera, DRAMA!'
