The main question is, "Who benefitted from the interruption of the proceedings?" The riot began right after AZ was contested. As a result, we did not get our two hours of debate, where we could have shown our evidence. And our legal ability to contest the other states who had alternate electors was thwarted, also.
The dems didn't stop there. They tried to pass legislation to remove these legal safeguarding proceedings. It didn't pass, so they snuck it into the omnibus bill. It is very obvious who didn't want the Senators to be able to contest states.
After the dem's paid rioters began to storm the Capitol (an hour before we arrived from the Trump speech, by the way), the dems decided to forgo all the proceedings and just vote, with no debates allowed. Hmmm.
