On 1/24 the closing price was $19.16. Actually, the next day, the closing price was $20.42, up over a dollar! The closing price this past Friday was $19.07, 9 cents less than the closing price on 1/24. So no $10 billion loss, that's for sure.
Very difficult to tie a stock price movement (i.e. investor enthusiasm) to any precise event with certainty. I don't like the stock for other reasons already, the Newsmax drop doesn't even factor in my market analysis, just in my dislike factor.
