So does not having a black national anthem bring down inflation? Does it lower housing prices? Does it prevent people from dying of drug overdoses? Does it stop police from killing white people in the streets? Does it keep food on peoples table? Having or not having a black national anthem literally has ZERO effect on 99.99999999999% of people whats the point of getting upset about it?
Why is it wrong to let people sing what they want? We have millions of bigger issues that actually have an effect on the world. This is literally just "GET MAD CUZ THEY SANG A SONG AFTER THE ANTHEM" who the fuck cares.
Because it further divides. It's a sick ploy to destroy the country and we all see it here. Woke is evil.
How does it divide people? Because people on our side see it and get mad about it? Its not like theyre saying theyre not american or better, its about what it means to be a black american (which you cant deny is different than white america). I truely dont understand how having a song about america play after the national anthem is divisive. Expect to those who are easily offended.
There's a standard for what we call the National Anthem and it is the cornerstone of many of our cherished activities such as sports. Not a Russian American National Anthem, not a Chinese American, or Mexican American, or Korean American, or Brown American, or any other [fill in the bank] American National Anthem.
So why do Black Americans get their own National Anthem? Because they are the selected group being leveraged to divide the country due to convenience. Any educated Black person would agree that it unnecessarily divides.
It's part of the agenda to destroy our country and the sooner people wise up to that the sooner we can call the cabal out of their disgusting horseshit and bring them the fuck down. That's why.
👍👍 Well said!
So it sounds like its divisive because youre offended by it. And thats what libs do. They say something should be removed because it offends them. Are we just copying them? Or are you saying tradition should just continue? Because if thats the case then "irish need not apply" because thats also an american tradition.
The point here is that this is being sung as a National Anthem to sit along side our one and only actual anthem. It is entirely race based and thus racist itself. This is not "just singing a song after the anthem" - this is race-dividing garbage.
You can turn it off? Or are the libs holding you hostage?
Youve also never heard lift every voice if you think its about race. Heres the lyrics, lemme know which part is rase based.
Lift every voice and sing Till earth and heaven ring, Ring with the harmonies of Liberty; Let our rejoicing rise High as the listening skies, Let it resound loud as the rolling sea. Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us, Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us, Facing the rising sun of our new day begun Let us march on till victory is won. Stony the road we trod, Bitter the chastening rod, Felt in the days when hope unborn had died; Yet with a steady beat, Have not our weary feet Come to the place for which our fathers sighed? We have come over a way that with tears have been watered, We have come, treading our path through the blood of the slaughtered, Out from the gloomy past, Till now we stand at last Where the white gleam of our bright star is cast. God of our weary years, God of our silent tears, Thou who has brought us thus far on the way; Thou who has by Thy might Led us into the light, Keep us forever in the path, we pray. Lest our feet stray from the places, Our God, where we met Thee; Lest, our hearts drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee; Shadowed beneath Thy hand, May we forever stand. True to our GOD, True to our native land
Maybe you think its race based because thats what youve been told, and not because you read the lyrics yourself?
The lyrics do not come into this at all. They can be singing Ice Ice Baby and if it was being sung as a Black National Anthem it is racist. The one and only National Anthem doesn't not exclude by race. It doesn't exclude at all. To sing anything as a race based anthem is racist... regardless of the contents of what is being sung. However, when one couples this being sung as specifically a black national anthem it does change the meaning and imply some racial overtones to the song... having just read the lyrics now; since, again, the lyrics were not part of it. However I see maybe I could have been a bit more clear in my "this is race-dividing garbage" statement - that wasn't in regards to the song, that was in regards to there being a separate race-based anthem at all.
You seem to be COMPLETELY missing the Entire Point!!
