A brother and sister say they had to stop 6 times in one day to charge their rented Tesla in cold weather after the battery drai...
Xaviar and Alice Steavenson said they paid up to $30 each time they needed to recharge their car on their road trip from Orlando to Wichita.
driving all electric for a road trip like that is just idiotic. The Tesla or any all-electric vehicle is intended for in-town and commuting.
Oh, but it says 330 mile range. No. That's when it's brand new. That doesn't account for wear, after you run it down you don't get that peak range again.
It doesn't account for minimum range where you have miles left and it stop so you don't go completely dead, and doesn't account for cold weather.
"But muh super charggzz"
Yeah, ok. super charge it. That shortens your battery life too.
But if we turn off the radio we'll get another 3 miles!
