Usually when some obscure NFL player rises out of the pack, and he is not a QB, It is because he is a game hero, like Malcolm Butler in Super Bowl 49 after he intercepted a Russell Wilson pass in the waning moments of that game. Yes, it is the play where they should have given the ball to Marshawn Lynch.
