Need to weaken the lobbyist infrastructure first. Take the profit out of education through open source initiatives and remove the only incentive keeping this failed glorified public daycare system alive.
Real schools with merit based teachers. No tenure. Competition everywhere for the best of the best to once again teach our children something other than social/equity/hate yourself/change your gender bullshit.
So like private schools? What happens to the families that cannot afford it? Or how is this funded without a Dept of Ed? Doing away with the public school system sounds like a very big deal to me with very big consequences - like a lot of unsupervised children running around while parents/guardians are working for beginners.
Their parents. If we got rid of all of these wasted bureaucrats, moms (or dads) could afford to stay home with their own children and teach them properly.

Stay-at-home mothers, as it used to be before the bankers started robbing the people more and more so that both parents had to work.....
Eliminating the public school system isn't going to bring that back.

That is true - but I think it’s important to both try and insert the idea into the dialogue of the sheep.
