Here in Hong Kong:
Income tax (both salaries and profit) capped at 15%. Median rate for workers = less than 2%
Sales tax: no such thing, except certain items such as cigarettes
Property taxes: effective rate 0.2% in respect to property value (3% "land rent" + 5% "rates" in respect to property rental value), also taxes on rent 15%
Inheritance taxes: abolished in 2006
That's it. No other taxes.
