Hated it when Kennedy's portrait replaced Franklin. Too much Adonis-like media driven hero worship in death at the time (in art manufactured by Joe Sr.). In retrospect we celebrate EO 11111, and his desire to break the CIA (starting with firing Dulles) and his intent not to escalate Vietnam. Sadly he was not a man of adequate personal character, like Trump is.
are you referring to womanizing? Because there's an argument for any of those three as for lacking in personal character in that area of life. I would bet Franklin was the worst maybe? And I think with Kennedy there was more to it than meets the eye, with Monroe and the mafia and honeytraps, etc...
Kennedy was born of Boston Irish thug stock. Joe Sr. leveraged his Irish mob connections during prohibition to eventually corner the US scotch market in the '30's. Where womanizing is concerned the dad swapped girls with the boys constantly. Ben Franklin existed before the mob existed. I don't care about his alleged womanizing. He belongs on the 50 cent piece more than does Kennedy. Reagan brought back the walking liberty design ( the 1/2 dollar design prior to Franklin) with which he was familiar when the US began minting 1 oz silver pieces in 1986 and has continued to do so since then.

I like the 1922 liberty,I wear around my neck everyday. It's on a badge lanyard I keep in my shirt pocket,it has the nicest polish I've ever seen.
Coin
Personally my dream coin is the 1 ounce golden buffalo.
I still want a golden Continental coin from John Wick, I have several of them in silver but one day intend to add an actual gold one to my stack.
Lol me too Anon! I’m a silver stacker but would love a 1oz gold buff someday. Something about that coin is just amazing
American silver eagles are beautiful
My first crush:
