I think one of the BIGGEST driving factors in the United States is our health coverage is absolutely tied to our jobs.
We supply billions of dollars to Israel, and Israeli citizens have near free healthcare and cheap as dirt college tuition. And they hate Christians. Why?

High school students can't tell analog time, read or write cursive, or count back change properly. The list goes on... It's a crying shame.

There’s no reason people need to know any of the examples you gave.
Computers are an invention by people to make things easier. That comes along with digital clocks and calculators. Cursive? Who cares. What value does knowing how to write cursive give a person?
If you are using digital devices for absolutely everything in your life, you are headed for real trouble. I would recommend becoming more familiar with cybersecurity, and avoiding digital devices when they are not needed.
Ummm... I disagree. I work for a major grocery store chain and we need people that know the basics, so everyone doesn't freak out every time we lose internet connection. They can't add or subtract or use a credit card slide. Then when the customer fills out that information in cursive, they can't read it. Worthless. By design. How is this easier?
They can't read cursive, he said they can't write. Plus the amount in the box is not in cursive.

I dont own a car, so i walk and bike everywhere with my kids. And my daughter can easily outrun what i could do at her age because i grew up doing no physical activity in the subburbs.
IF this Coach had a rubber mallet I would HOPE w/all my heart that he'd hit these parents square and then yell at them, (I like his intensity), until they understand that they are in charge of their kids upbringing...NOT THE DAMN SCHOOLS!!!
