It wasn’t a scare event, it was a WTF China Biden event, why are we letting foreign balloons fly over our airspace, they can spy on us with those balloons and you’re just letting it happen! After getting called out, they said oops, we got caught being lax(like having classified docs scattered all over a dozen properties and losing laptops) and they had to act like they cared and started shooting them down.

The whole”UFO” drama is caused by using a stupid crappy term because a huge part of the population only hears extraterrestrial aliens when they hear UFO and they don’t know it just means a flying object that hasn’t yet been properly identified. That makes it fun for media to spin a thousand directions and amp all this up. It’s all embarrassing on pretty much every level.
