Scary that the price of eggs is the beginning of the end for America. I hold hopeful that this is not the case, yet I know in my heart that it is true. So we just hunker down and wait for the itteration of government to be established. Then what? Ugh, like the article says, we are too tired to care about the future. Plus, it's too late in the game to change anything, so we will just ride the wave into a unknown future.
All we can do is pick up the pieces and build a parallel economy. We have the tools, we just need to use them.
I think what we’re seeing is the fulfillment of prophecy. We know we have to wade through the worst before the Savior comes. Scriptures Also tell us through there will be miracles, and the wheat will be separated from the chaff. There is some hope for those who do survive this, will see greatest manifestation of the Savior that anyone else has ever seen.
I went shopping for my Parents yesterday. Bought them some mayo. The medium sized jar was 8.49. For mayo.
Jesus. Where are you shopping, Whole Foods?
Inflation is out of control, don't get me wrong. But I just have no idea where some of these prices I see people quoting are coming from. I live in one of the most expensive places in the country, and I'm still not paying 8.49 for mayo or 18 bucks for a dozen eggs.
At those prices, might as well just buy everything on Amazon and get it mailed to you. You can get a 30 oz jar of Blue Plate's for 3.98.
