It would be sin to marry an unbeliever (knowingly, as a believer) as we are commanded not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers . Scripture even equates it to being linked, or having a part with Belial or Satan. Mind you, when a person is converted after marriage, they are commanded to stay unless the unbeliever wants the divorce.
