Yes, I am slowly coming around to that idea. Chinese and Russian news sites, even as they are state sponsored, seem more truthful somehow. I think what has happened is that they realized that lying does not get them anywhere, and politically, lies have a habit of blowing up in their faces.

If one speaks the truth to the people, it benefits the people. Weird how that works.
