They still have soda in glass returnable bottles along with plastic bottles that cost more. You can pay a deposit OR more common they will pour the soda into a plastic bag and give you a straw. Why pay 25 Peso for a plastic bottle of soda when you can get the same amount of soda for 15 peso?

People earn 5 to 7 bucks a DAY money is tight! So tight that they don't use toilet paper.
