Mark Dice · Whoever becomes the next face of Project Veritas is going to be treated like a CNN host. It will be difficult if not impossible for them to recover from this. James O'Keefe was forced out as CEO and chairman by the board of directors, essentially relegating him to a secretary.
So after 13 years he packed up his things and left on Monday. Now they're accusing him of financial malfeasance due to alleged frivolous spending on parties to promote the organization and "black cars" (meaning professional drivers). This is going to get ugly.
They have a board of directors because they operate as a non-profit organization, FYI. It will be interesting to see if the board gives themselves a raise now that he's out of the way. RIP Project Veritas.
According to James, one of the board members texted a PV employee saying exactly that, they would get raises if James was gone. The employee sent the text to James and he showed a copy of it during his resignation speech.
No one is going to trust this org enough to be a whistleblower for them. PV has lost its trust while having a mission statement that requires trust, they are dead now from seppuku.
Thanks, I didn't know this and was wondering why they even had a board.
