The optics were huge on this. People scoff at "optics" but Trump understands. That's why the left was having a screeching meltdown over it.

Not explicitly said, but Trump showing up to hand out bottled water and supplies makes the current admin, especially Pete Butthead, look like a bunch of incompetent dolts who just don't care about this country.
