Not sure where this hypothetical is coming from, but clearly "Bidan regime" is not in control. The reason why Assange extradition is getting dragged out so much is, in my personal belief, one of timing. Assange cannot be freed until we are at the precipice.
Hence each step of the extradition seems to be carefully calibrated, not centrally, but by "hidden hands of the WHs" to put it simply.
