It's behind a paywall for me, maybe they want to keep out freeloaders. I'm already aware of how bad South Africa is right now though.

I spent time there during the 1980s when they still had the so-called "Apartheid" laws to suppress the blacks. Apartheid was a stupid mistake and the white rulers should never have tried to keep it going. I am not sure why the rest of the world attacked them and sanctioning them and so on; the Afrikaaners are pretty strong-minded and obstinate and will not be bossed around so my guess they refused to fall into line and allow the WEF to control their government etc. So they had to be brought down.

Whatever, although South Africa was a rough place back then it was 100x better than now - I have not been back but everything has basically collapsed from what I understand.

Sadly from what I see of America I agree that yes it is sliding down the same slope as did South Africa.
