Lilith was considered to be the first witch. The belief in her as a deity is ancient and widespread. Even in the Book of Isaiah Lilith is mentioned and apparently was greatly feared by young mothers in Canaan. Witchcraft practices sorcery. Abortion is a form of sorcery and a human sacrifice to Lilith.

Roe v. Wade was not actually reversed though. SCOTUS ruled it was not a Constitutional issue (a federal issue), and left it to the States for them to decide.
