Two Air Force commanders and four leaders assigned to a North Dakota base were relieved, officials said.

We moved in the middle of summer....July/August. Our mobile home took several weeks to get to Barksdale and we had to live in a popup camper for those weeks. No air conditioning, no running water, no bathrooms. Lots of bad memories about living near Barksdale, yet I consider myself a Southern boy now. Great place to be from, just don't go into Shreveport after dark lest you don't care about your life.
