It's stupid too. This isn't even a war for the future either. Russia and China are essentially the U.S. of their regions. They have large land masses and large populations with a good amount of resources at their disposal, and they are across vast distances of ocean.

Waging any form of traditional warfare (read: non nuclear) is almost entirely non feasible in today's age.

Economical and scientific warfare (e.g. infiltrating an opposing country and causing them to give almost a quarter of a trillion dollars, or maintaining greater scientific advancements than your opposing nations) are the ways to win, as you create unrest just by sitting back.
