My concern was my Social Security (SSA) retirement money and getting my bills paid. The EBT being down at the same time was first seen in the posts about Direct Express and then in links on the website that verifies sites and apps that aren't working. The outage ended after 3 plus hours but suspiciously both came back at the same time. Looks like the government could certainly control people quickly with just a flick of a switch. Same with switching to all electric.
looks like things are being fixed, if all the EBT cards go down their will be rioting in the streets. The DS made a trial run in Baton Rouge La several years ago, one Saturday morning all the EBT cards were shut down, several grocery stores were looted and a Walmart was looted too, police riot squads were called into action, By noon the cards were turned on again, things went back to normal, so I watch the EBT situation carefully, if the DS wants the inner city to turn upside down, this is the way for them to do it. Floyd situation doesn't hold a candle to what shutting down the EBT cards can to to the populas.
Now someone won't be buying a cart of ribeyes and lobster tails in front of me in line.
