That's the way you look at it. That's evidently not the way she looked at it. And you don't know if Fetterman agrees with it. Right now, probably what Fetterman needs most is clinical help, and she would be as useful as a third leg.
People here like to get on their high horse and pronounce on moral behavior, but where is the compassion? I spent 19 days in hospital healing from my open-heart surgery and had no wife to comfort me. I didn't miss what I didn't have. When you are at the bottom, you are simply struggling to get through the day. You don't have time or energy to even have conversations. And I hadn't lost the use of my means of communication, as Fetterman has. Don't be so quick to judge when the external things cannot let you know what the internal things are.
Your running her down yourself ,by saying " shed be as useful as a third, leg" ..her being there for him could have done more for him at that point than the Hospital,..could have ,.When you get married you both take a vow, "till death us do part" ,Well the man was still alive,.in the Hospital,.whether she could have helped in the Hostpital or not is not the point,.she is his wife and should have been with him..thats her place,.to be beside him,.at a time like that,.wouldnt you think,.?..Would he have run out and left her in the hospital,.to possibly die ..alone,.i dont know,...Im a nam veteran,.and I watched many a young soldier some of my friends,..die..alone..in some god forsaken place, with no one there for them,.nothing,..just thrown in a body bag and shipped home,.so dont fkn try to lecture or judge me,..!!
Except that I have been there and done that, so don't you stand on a pedestal. He is in no prospect of death and the indications were that they were in communication and of an accord on what to do.
Ive done and seen more in 3+yrs in nam than you would in a life,.time,.many of those guys coming home like myself,.were wounded and some were married ,.some of the wives and gf had found someone else,..it was devastating for some,..many ended up in a mental homes or committed suicide,.I dont b stand on no pedestal,.you piece of shit,.these are facts,..!!

So's open-heart surgery. You were the one who first threw shade. And I didn't call you any names.
I really appreciate you sharing that perspective.
