From Acts 17:
The Uproar in Thessalonica 5 The Jews, however, became jealous. So they brought in some troublemakers from the marketplace, formed a mob, and sent the city into an uproar. They raided Jason’s house in search of Paul and Silas, hoping to bring them out to the people. 6 But when they could not find them, they dragged Jason and some other brothers before the city officials, shouting,** “These men who have turned the world upside down have now come here,** 7 and Jason has welcomed them into his home. They are all defying Caesar’s decrees, saying that there is another king, named Jesus!”…
We are upside down again, and nothing is as it should be. If the disciples "turned the world upside down," in the early days of the church, are we near the end of the age when King Jesus will come and turn things right side up?
I’ve been going through some deep searching about what is the correct view of the Bible eschatology. I even sought input here with a rare original post. I then decided there won’t be any brownie points for getting everything right but there will be for helping my neighbors so maybe I won’t worry about it but keep studying to show myself approved.
This week a bible study I attended covered Job chapter 28 which I would like to share. It starts with 11 verses of what man can do, then 11 verses of wondering where wisdom is and that man does not value it and can not find it. The final 7 verses proclaim that God knows where wisdom is and through him it can be found.
The final verse states, "And he said to Man, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.'" Job 28:28 ESV
