Thank you, purkiss80. This reminder is so important for all of us.
This week I had quite a fight due to my bad emotions coming at me.
God wants us to see also the beauty he created and enjoy it. Now is a good time to detox, release and take a last rest before starting refreshed into spring.
In our Home, Friday night has become "Steven Seagal Night"...my Wife and I have Supper, roll a fatty for Daddy, and have a good hearty laugh over Steven Seagal's later films...they are ridiculous, low budget, and genuinely very funny...no phones, no computer, just watching a bad movie on a Friday night...it's as close to tuning out as I am capable of, but it works...
Plant some seeds. Touch soil even if it comes from a bag. Create life. While I’m writing this I wonder if growing food has replaced mothering for me as my children are grown and there is not much to nurture besides the garden and my spouse. 🤔
Take a walk or a jog every now and then. Breathe fresh air. Enjoy the beauty of God's creation. Lift weights. Get your blood pumping. Renew your mind. Pray. And then get back in the fight.
We have to take care of ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually if we're going to endure this long battle with the wickedness of this world.
If only I didn't have some level of Autism that directs my thoughts to the issue/puzzle/problem/thing to learn/item of interest, that seems most important to me at the time.
Been this way all my life. It's hard. Been told I have a one track mind all my life. It's almost impossible to change interests until I have it all figured out. I used to love it, it's hard now. Need a break.
I can't even enjoy a video game anymore. Sure I can play for a bit, but then my mind goes to work on all of this.
Still I enjoy the movie as Q told me too. But I wish it was over so I could concentrate on literally anything else.
Just said this to a brother yesterday. Gotta limit my GAW to only when I run on the elliptical. They are bombarding us with so much negativity and the mind gets affected. I do run daily so before I get any hate.
Totally agrée! You have to step back sometimes and put it all in perspective of the big picture.
The 40,000 feet view!

My absolute pleasure...We all need a timeout now and again...😉🙏

Yep. Play in the dirt. Dirt heals.

I'll take a weekend off to rejuvenate. I'll admit though, it's an exciting first cup of coffee Monday morning!
This should be marked Required Reading!!
Great advice.
