Not related to this greasy haired weasel, but just wanted to mention that I attended a meeting for the 51st state of New California on Thursday, and it is much further along than I realized. This has been in the works, quietly behind the scenes for nine years, and apparently it’s becoming close to reality.

I don’t understand all the logistics of this, but my understanding is that CA became a state in 1850, and then became corrupted against the state constitution in 1879. Founding Fathers provided an avenue to correct this, which West Virginia used to become a new state from Virginia. New California is using the same pathway as West Virginia. The state government has already been appointed, the state constitution written, and talks with Speaker McCarthy are now in process, I was told.
