They simply don't push someone like Grohl because they are in awe of his art. They don't give a fuck about art, they want to know if you are made a ahem "star" if you are going to play ball or not. If they are helping you "be a star" you damn well better return it when the time comes with the one thing they actually DO care about..... influence. Grohl let them know he was going to "play ball" on a level few do and he has been on tap in their system to be involved as much as Bono was. If it wasn't clear to many, it became very clear during "covid." A big MSG Foo Fighters show was supposed to be part of the bargaining chip to get you jabbed. Dave had his running narrative in his stage-talk that night, making it clear those people just refusing to go along with the program were missing something truly special. LOL. Oh, and who was chosen to play at what became 1/6? And you better believe DAVE was one of the very first to update his twitter telling you all "This is the most messed up thing I have ever seen!" scolding "those involved" and forgetting that Cobain dying was pretty messed up in it's on right.
With mediocre music, Dave has several books, instant hits, and plenty of help in return for "playing ball."
He also got a movie! I have a hard time understanding why any member of the band would have thought Foo Fighters 666 was a good use of their time. Apparently, Dave thought this was a Citizen-Kane like masterpiece and was getting upset that other members just would not share the same reverence he had for "the script." He had to have several articles going out explaining how Taylor just "would not read the script and would not follow the script." Taylor just stood in the way of what would have been one of the greatest movies of all time, just wouldn't respect the script, but they put the movie out anyway.
Oh yeah, Taylor did not want to take a jab under any circumstances, I guess that was a problem since Dave was so all on board with them.
Seems like a dividing point so reached based on who was going to follow the script and who was not.

Both blond band mates died.
Interesting.
However, Grohl is an artist. Great drummer.
