Exactly my first thought too.

The enemy has had multiple generations of planning and recruiting operatives. This has been a protracted war really going back to before President Kennedy. Part of our enemies plan was to be able to hold our nation or any nation on this planet hostage or in effective slavery through soft power means, but failing that if a nation resisted or rebelled, then asymmetric warfare /irregular warfare would be implemented. For this capability to exist, there had to be in existence small groups of controlled assets which had the capability to compete the desired attack vector (terrorism, sabotage, civil disorder / unrest).

The most important thing I have taken from the Q drops is that the worst case attack vector nuclear bomb detonation (either by rogue country missile attack, rogue launch from our own governments asset (military or secret agency), full on nuclear exchange, or terrorist strike) was neutralized early on in the prior 6 years of warfare. The second worst case was a biological warfare vector. Clearly they deployed that one and have used it beyond the point of exhaustion for the population. By continuing to engage this pandemic weapon vector, the societal effect is turning against the desired outcome, so the narrative has shifted to a different disruptive vector (chemical warfare via "accident", muh ukraine, and China balloons with a nod to aliens).

In the realm of other forms of irregular kinetic warfare, we are seeing many assets deployed that were frankly sleepers before. Spent assets are often use once, so thankfully most of the time the extent of destruction and loss of life though traumatizing, horrible, and regrettable is localized and limited in scope. Since the sleepers are not usually known before hand, it is often not possible to intercept a localized attack (shooting) before it begins.

One thing I have noticed is the mass shooters used to be predominantly white for years, but recently it seems like there have been more Black, Oriental, Latin types of people engaging in the attack. Now from a narrative perspective, the media cover the event once and drop it without getting to any information about the perpetrators description or a picture when it's nor executed by a white person, so most normies probably don't catch on. But if they previously had sufficient white sleepers to insure such attacks were always carried out by a white person to establish the bad white guy narrative, then the fact that they are now using other people suggests they have run out of their primary ammunition for that attack vector.

Overall, I despise that these attacks occur, but I am hopeful they are running low on their ammunition to continue These attacks long term. Also, many of the attacks have appeared somewhat more sloppy than prior years attacks. Again this suggests to me they are running out of cover for keeping the public unaware of the war constantly happening all around them.
