Personally, I think the red state / blue state division is mostly myth. There are a few exceptions, such as Florida and South Dakota, but those governors have come under scrutiny and their ways of governing are not necessarily institutionalized.
The country has gone Left; blue state versus red state is a matter of degree. Globalist leftist infiltration is everywhere. That's why I think the "national divorce" idea isn't going to solve anything. When enough conservatives get pissed off, get off the bread-and-circus wagon (turn off the football game and put down the pizza or whatever) and get out there and DO something we might turn the ship around.
A trend few people are looking at is for people to feel like the elderly have less of a right to life as other people. This narrative is in a lot of media and these nursing home atrocities continue without any justice because people feel like "they were going to die anyway". It further reinforces the culture of death that Pope John Paul talked about in 1995. The culture of death is very real and plays a big role in our current downfall as a culture.

IMHO, rigged election results have turned blue or purple but the country is actually mostly red with blue pockets (ex. larger cities)
