I don’t equate the animal world to that of humans. Animals have their instincts to guide them, as they are programmed to. Humans have a choice to act on their knowledge or reject it. Most adults have no clue about pregnancy and childbirth as they were not taught to care.

We rub this substance into the babies skin, it acts as a barrier and natural “lotion” that helps them adjust to being earth side.
