That was then.
This is now....
The entire construction of our government is designed to commit fraud, down to the constitution itself.
Any government that claims the right to tell those who want to be a part of it, what they can or can't do with their own life, liberty, or property is committing jurisdictional fraud. No human being, or group of human beings, has the right to such claims. Doing so is the definition of slavery. The U.S. Government pretties it up, but it is built in. Any government that doesn't allow for a person to not be a part of the government, or opt out once in (must have an exit clause) is committing the same fraud, laying claim to the individual. The U.S. Government commits both of those frauds.
The U.S. Government, via the constitution is not, and cannot be a government "of, by, and for the People" because it isn't designed that way. The DOI gave lip service to a government that didn't commit these frauds, but the Constitution didn't put in the necessary pieces to ensure that didn't happen. On the contrary, there are explicit pieces that commit the fraud straight up.
That is STILL now, no matter who is "in control." It is built in to the system.
All solid points. I'll offer this up as well since its tax season. The gov wants a full account from every person and every business on exactly what money was earned, how it was spent, received, specific amounts and a detailed filing. Income is taxed, evaluated, and taxed again. So the people send the government more of their hard-earned money in the form of "paying taxes".
Shouldn't the people then also receive a full account from the government on the money the gov earned and how it was spent?
No.
Let me rephrase your question:
A thief comes into your house and demands a list from you of everything you own. The law of the land only allows them to steal 35%, so they need that list. They then steal that amount from you: 35% of your cash and jewelry, 35% of your stove, a skosh over 1/3rd of your children, one of your three cars plus the taillight of a second, etc.. Doesn't the thief then owe you an accounting of all the fences they sell your goods to, and the bookies they pay off with your jewelry and cash?
The answer to both your question and my rephrasing of it is "no."
Or if you prefer, "Hell No."
The reason why the answer is "no" is because the question is trying to solve the wrong crime.
